At ‘Te Rakau Joinery’ we design and create custom woodwork furniture and accessories that are built to last a lifetime. Our craftsmen 'Cam' uses sustainably sourced wood such as totara, macrocarpa, gum, rimu,
and redwood to create unique and beautiful pieces that will become cherished family heirlooms.
Our workshop is located in the stunning Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand, where we draw inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds us.
CAM & LISA
The main man behind building all your products is Cam. With a dream to set up a wood working business Te Rakau Joinery has fulfilled that. Fencer by trade and time for a new career change after a major accident. He has always enjoyed building with native timber and is really enjoying sourcing native timber and creating your products.
I’m Lisa I take care of the admin side of the business - orders, shipping/delivery and social media. I also work as a medical professional so this has all been a massive learning curve but I’ve really enjoyed helping out and learning the ropes of running our own business. We have 4 kids between us, they are all great assistants and love working with Dad in the shed! Dad loves their help too…most of the time!
